Panic Attack & Anxiety Disorder – Find Out How To Cure Both – Without Drugs

Anxiety disorder or panic attack? Do you have a problem with one or the other? These days most people see these as the same thing, just different names.

Both can give you similar symptoms. Whether your symptoms are really bad or are a bit on the mild side. You will still end up petrified with these attacks.

Whether you put yourself in the panic attack or anxiety disorder group doesn’t really matter. It’s important to get control as soon as possible. Anything will do to quieten these horrific symptoms.

I know full well how urgent the need for treatment is after witnessing a full blown attack. Many types of drugs are available as treatments for anxiety and panic. It’s vital that you see your doctor soon. There may be another underlying problem that needs identifying.

If you are currently having anxiety or panic attacks. I would try to find a treatment that doesn’t involve drugs. I say that for a couple of reasons.

The first reason is that with drugs come side effects, sometimes pretty bad ones. Next you have the fact that drug regimens will be for the short term only. Most good doctors would shy away from a longer term medication program.

It’s a certainty that most doctors would have you stop the drugs sooner rather than later. No doubt the thought has crossed your mind about coming off the drugs, and the consequences. That’s a very good question.

It may please you to learn that other methods can work far better than taking medication. And they don’t use drugs of any sort. No drugs, pills, potions or black magic. Nothing like that.

Other anxiety sufferers conquered their problems without drugs and knew they needed to spread the word. These techniques teach you to recognise when an attack is looming. And then quickly stamping down on them and halting an attack before it starts.

It’s your choice, carry on with the panic attacks and anxiety disorder. Or decide to take control and teach yourself some killer techniques.

I Want To Break Free From This Speech Impediment

Mum, I could really do with your help. What is wrong Steve? It is my speech; I know I try and make out that it does not really bother me too much but this stutter is really starting to get me down. Even what the average person would class as “simple tasks” are beyond me; such as even saying my own name or answering simple questions. I find it virtually impossible to read out in front of the class without stuttering and basically I have had enough.

OK Steve, I can see how upset you are. But what about all of the help that you have been receiving at speech therapy? Are you having a laugh? It has been a waste of time Mum, I thought you would have known that. I have been going to see various speech therapists since the age of five, that is ten years now. What has been the result of all of this therapy? I am now worse than ever. So I guess you could say that speech therapy has not exactly proven to be beneficial for me. Yes I agree that the speech therapists themselves are nice enough people but they are not getting paid to be nice; they are getting paid to help people like me. The main problem being is that they just have no comprehension as to what it is like to have this form of speech impediment.

Steve, I can hear your frustration and I understand the points that you are making. I now realise just how stupid my question about the speech therapy was – I am sorry Steve. It is now time to look for an alternative form of therapy; what we need is a new form of stuttering treatment and some proper stuttering/stammering advice.

The above was a conversation that I had with my mother when I was aged fifteen. The stutter was starting to become a real thorn in my side, a thorn I needed to remove as soon as possible.

Over the next few years, with the help of my supportive family, I worked extremely hard to find a way to stop stuttering. This was not going to be easy however and I knew that my goal to find the secrets as to how to stop stuttering would require a far amount of patience. At the age of twenty-two I finally achieved my goal of fluency – it was sure worth the wait – now my life could really begin.

How Asbestos Causes Mesothelioma

How Asbestos Causes Mesothelioma

Author: http://www.PainsAway.info

Mesothelioma is a cancer that occurs in the lining of the lungs. Contact with asbestos is a cause of asbestosis and mesothelioma. Each year an average of 3000 cases of asbestosis are reported in the USA.

Some eight million (mostly over the age of 25) with enough exposure to asbestos in the last 50 years to have been diagnosed with Mesothelioma cancer.

Safety measures have been put into place in the past 20 years once it was recognized that asbestos was such a risk and to protect people from exposure to it in their homes, schools and work places.

Experts though do say the number of cases of mesothelioma should around 2020 and then decline as materials in buildings and work places will be void of asbestos by then.

Of course, as with any cancer, early detection and treatment is imperative if there’s any hope of survival. However, mesothelioma patients are at a disadvantage in this area, because symptoms take anywhere between 20 and 50 years to manifest after the exposure. Because of this, patients are older, usually over 50. In addition, first symptoms can masquerade as many other less serious ailments. This makes diagnosis quite difficult. Because of this, the cancer is quite likely to be advanced once it has been detected. There is no fully effective treatment available. However, most experts believe that combination therapy increases survival rate versus monotherapy. Research into mesothelioma treatment continues.

Studies on survival of mesothelioma patients show that the disease has a fatality rate of almost 100%. Once diagnosed with mesothelioma, the average survival rate stands roughly six months to two years. There have been exceptions, which continue to give hope to other mesothelioma patients and their families. Life expectancy is dependent on many things, including its stage at diagnosis (mesothelioma has four stages, with four being the most advanced) and the type of mesothelioma diagnosed. Tests conducted on the tissue structure of mesothelioma cells found that sarcomatous cells’ existence meant a median survival rate of about 11 months, 11 months for mixed cells, and 12.5 months for epithelial cells.

However, that said, there are other things that influence mesothelioma survival rate. Mesothelioma has a survival rate of about 9% five years after diagnosis, which means there are most definitely people who do survive long-term with this disease. Some of those people are symptom free. And of course, research continues to be done so that one day a cure may be available.

One of the things that influences survival rate is health at the time of diagnosis. Obviously, if you’re healthier at the time of diagnosis, you’re probably going to have a better chance of beating the disease or at least surviving long-term versus someone who is in poor health. The size of the tumor also matters, as does the amount of fluid in the chest cavity. If the tumor can be completely removed, this also improves the survival rate. The type of cells present (as described above) also matter. If this is a recurrence, then survival rates are likely to be poorer than those of a first diagnosis.

If you have mesothelioma, or if you have a family member who does, don’t give up hope. The Internet abounds with resources for those with mesothelioma and their family members. These resources are invaluable, because not only do they allow you to provide support and encouragement to others in the same situation, but you are also privy to the latest developments in treatment. Thus, these types of resources can make an unbearable situation at least easier to deal with. And of course, your health care practitioner will also likely have resources for you. …
